- Responsible to supervise import-export activities.

- Ensure compliancy with global trade laws.

- Ensure reduction of duty and tax liabilities by the use of proper law mechanisms and tools available.

- Ensure compliancy to VAT certifications standards.

- Manage duty relief programs for the IMMEX operation such as Rule 8th and PROSEC. Correct application and administration.

- Oversee import and export transactions to ensure compliance with Mexico and U.S. Customs regulations, including US and MX HTS code, country of origin, value description.

- Ensure compliancy to C-TAPT requirements.

- Monitor and maintain updated MX HTS classification, customs description, country of origin, ECCN in Customs Inventory Control System (I Xport).

- Manage information technology to develop interfaces needed between systems, ensure database of Customs Inventory Control System provide confidence and right information and develop EDI tool.

Requirements

-Bachelor's Degree required.

- Experience using Annex 24 systems, Annex 31 system and VUCEM portal.

- 3 to 5 years experience in similar position.

- Bilingual (english and spanish).
